If you had to pick an “antebellum” city to dwell underground in, which would it be?
There are quite a few cities here in the US, and in other parts of the world that have lost cities beneath the sidewalks.. And it seems, in The Buried Life, that enough time has passed so that a significant population can be sustained beneath the surface.
So which city would suit you?
I would maybe pick Seattle- even if it was damp, they have all those Pendeltons. Or, abroad? How about Edinburgh? They have a great underground city just waiting to be re-settled!
What do you guys think?
